18 to 24 months is a long time for a “Maybe”! In my opinion, a prepaid debit (re-loadable) card is good for two things; 1) a preset spending limit with the advantages of having a VISA or MasterCard logo for traveling CONUS or OCONUS; 2) if you have a college student who you need to send money to and keep be on a budget. That is it! Join a credit union and get a free debit card with a VISA or MasterCard logo. What is the NCUA saying? Since this is Suze’s Last Stand, Happy Retirement!

She’s one smart, bold, tough woman. She cares about anyone that’s ever been in a financial jam (and these days it’s alot of people) and her experience and expertise has brought her much wisdom. She knows what’s talking about. She’s a champion. I think she’ll succeed.
